Senior Accountant for International Corporation in Gothenburg

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for several Senior Accountants for an exciting international corporation in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work with accounting and reporting for one of the company's sales organizations. You will collaborate closely with both local and global teams and play a central role in ensuring high quality in financial reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for preparing and executing various accounting services, analyzing financial figures, and contributing to improvement projects. During the month-end closing, you will take a leading role in ensuring that reporting meets high standards. The role also involves close collaboration with the group's global accounting center in Madrid, local contacts, auditors, and tax consultants.

• Be responsible for accounting and reporting within one of the group's sales organizations
• Participate in improvement and standardization initiatives of existing processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and manage differences between local GAAP standards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global accounting teams and auditors
• Analyze financial data and contribute to increased automation and digitalization of accounting processes

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a university degree in finance or equivalent
• Has solid experience in accounting within an international manufacturing environment
• Is accustomed to working in SAP and Hyperion FM
• Has a good understanding of financial processes and systems and the ability to streamline them
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you:

• Have experience with SAP R/3
• Have an interest in data analysis, automation, and digitalization
• Have experience working with both IFRS and local accounting standards
